Thankyou to everyone who has visited my blog and left comments. A Few more creations - Sweetpea,Jasmine-Becket-Griffith,Sugar Nellie,

Its getting late and I should be in bed but got carried away looking at stuff on internet.  I have downloaded some beautiful free papers from Bearlymine.  I have also ordered a CD. I just put a few pictures up of some new cards that my friend sarah and I have been making.  Hope you like them
Bye for now Blog buddies, Sharon xxx

BY SHARON - Sweetpea Stamp - Artist - Ching-Chou Kuik - Easel Card

Here I have used a cream card base, with a light green butterfly print card by Kanban. Measurement 15x15cm or 5.7inch.
The stamp by Sweetpea - Ching-Chou-Kuik - is a mermaid with butterflys( I forgot the proper name)
It was Stamped using 'Big and Juicy' ink pad in the colourway 'Happy Birthday. Then the colour was gently washed over image using a watercolour brush to give a soft watery effect and subtle gradation of colours. I highlighted with Ranger Ice Stickles - Crystal Ice, and purple glitter.

I rounded the corners using a punch and then matted the image onto light purple glitter card.
I used a Marianne die in a cuttlebug die-cutting machine for the large butterfly (Cut Two) in contrasting card. Then added a purple heart shaped faux crystal and highlighted with the same glitter-glue.
Before stickingdown the topper I placed some lavender ribbon across middle of front of card and then tied in a bow at the side.  Another ribbon in green satin was tied over the top to make a double bow of two colours.
Cream Guipure lace was added to the top and bottom, and a pair of  purple butterfly buttons to add further interest.
The larger blue butterfly at the top left is holding a hidden gift (which is pictured below) a green felt envelope which is fastened with a lavender satin ribbon and decorative flower brad. lined with a strip of cream lace, the envelope conceals a large green crystal.
On opening the easel card, a strip of matching glitter card, a green satin ribbon and a pale yellow velvet ribbon act as a stopper. Another pair of butterfly buttons complete the decoration.

The Green Felt Envelope - (Sizzix) die-cut

Thats it for this one. I will add details for the others later. Got to dash now, hubby going out to practise with his band and I got friend coming over to do some crafting - heaven - three hours of uninterrupted crafting and maybe a glass of something. Hee hee. Can't beat it.
Bye for now People and thankyou for stopping by. ( and your encouraging comments have made my day - thanks.)
Luv Sharon x
