Girly pink birdy card - using new Spellbinders dies

Back to girly girly and a touch of pink!

Here is a card that I made using the new Spellbinders dies with birds, flourishes and birdcage.  oh and i think - Dahlia too. I used the dahlia shaped die to make the pink paper flowers - after watching a demo by Sue wilson. (On Create and Craft shopping channel.)  I really love Sue's designs.  This one was inspired by one of her demos.

Its on 8x8 scalloped white card blank by Craftwork Cards. I  inked around the edges lightly with pink ink. The bird has been inked in pink too! Then I used crackle glaze on the body and flourishes and a flat backed pearl for its eye. Vintage pink satin ribbon was pleated across the card front and back, using extra strong double sided tape.
